Entry to the museum is free for children under the age of 12, ICOM and CIMAM card holders, and the disabled.

In addition, you can enter the museum free of charge on Thursdays under the slogan “Your Thursday”. Young people aged 18-25 can enter the museum free of charge on Tuesdays.

If you get an annual membership starting from 75 TL for the Istanbul Museum of Modern Arts, which also has the annual membership system, you can benefit from many advantages such as free entrance to the museum, discounts for guest visitors, invitations for exhibition openings, free participation in cinema programs throughout the year.

You can visit the museum, which is closed on January 1, on the first days of the Sacrifice and Ramadan holidays, between 10:00 and 20:00 on Thursdays, and between 10:00 and 18:00 on other days.

There are many transportation alternatives to go to the Istanbul Modern Art Museum, which is located in Asmalımescit, in the Beyoğlu district. You can reach the museum after a 5-minute walk by getting off at the Şişhane stop on the Hacıosman-Taksim metro; The museum is located on the same street as Pera Palace, Pera Museum and Soho House Istanbul.

Those who will travel from the Anatolian side can come to Karaköy by ferry and walk to the Istanbul Modern Art Museum, or you can use the Karaköy-Beyoğlu historical funicular.
