Plastic, Reconstructive and Esthetic Surgery provides services for the treatment of both congenital and acquired esthetic, shape and function disorders. Expert plastic surgeons; In addition to esthetic interventions such as facial deformities, cleft lips/palates in babies, deformities of the maxillofacial, mammaplasty operations, they respond to the needs of the branch such as deformities of the genital organs and repair of severed limbs.

Some of the Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery applications are;

Nose Job Operations (Rhinoplasty)

One of the biggest determinants of face shape is the nose. Sometimes excessively large, wide or hook nose shapes can cause aesthetic problems in people and negatively affect the self-confidence and social life of the person. Aesthetic operations performed to change the shape of the nose are called rhinoplasty.

Rhinoplasty can be performed with two different methods known as open and closed techniques. The method to be used is decided by the doctor, taking into account the structural characteristics of the person. These operations are performed under local or general anesthesia according to the needs of the person.

Sometimes, septal deviation in which the curved nasal bone makes breathing difficult or prevents, and concha hypertrophy, in which the intranasal tissues swell for allergy-like reasons and cause nasal congestion, can be treated with rhinoplasty.

Rhinoplasty operations usually take a few hours. The tampons placed after the operation are removed within a few days and a one-week rest period is sufficient for the patient to return to his/her daily life. After the operation, it takes several months for the edema to completely go down and the nose shape to be fully settled.

Mammaplasty Operations (Reduction, Augmentation and Lifting)

Breast shape and size affect women’s daily life a lot. Mammaplasty operations can be divided into three titles as breast augmentation, reduction and lifting. Extremely large breasts can cause esthetic problems as well as posture disorders and back pain. Small breasts or sagging breasts for various reasons may disturb the person aesthetically and negatively affect psychology.

Gel-filled breast implants are used in augmentation mammaplasty, which is one of the most frequently applied aesthetic applications. The most preferred of these prostheses are silicone breast protheses. While these operations are sometimes applied when both breasts are small, they are sometimes used to provide symmetry between the two breasts and with other body shapes.

Reduction mammaplasty aesthetically improve the appearance of excessively large breasts, correcting conditions such as posture disorders and offer a more comfortable life.

Mastopexy are operations that can be performed both together with other breast operations and alone. Depending on the time, it is possible to restore the sagging breasts to their old forms due to weight gain or breastfeeding, with breast lift surgery.

Liposuction

Excess fat in certain parts of the body, called regional fat deposition, poses an aesthetic problem. These fat deposition can be removed from the body by liposuction. Liposuction is applied by vacuuming the fat tissues, which are made more fluid by various methods, by means of cannulas. Liposuction is not a weight loss method. In this respect, it is important for the person to be at their ideal weight before the operation.

Abdominoplasty Operations

Abdominal tissues may loosen and sagging may occur as a result of rapid weight loss after excessive weight gain or after pregnancy. Even if the person is at their ideal weight, these excesses can cause aesthetic discomfort. The operations that remove these sagging tissues and provide a more aesthetic and healthy appearance to the abdomen are called abdominoplasty. Abdominoplasty is not a weight loss method. For this reason, it is important for people to be at their ideal weight before this operation.

Blepharoplasty

Eyelids are of great importance in terms of facial aesthetics, along with the gaze. Problems such as sagging, wrinkles, swelling, etc. that occur in the eyelids negatively affect eye aesthetics and therefore facial aesthetics. Wrinkles, skin sagging and fat deposits, which are usually seen in the upper eyelid due to age, create aesthetic problems, while under-eye puffiness and wrinkles are usually seen on the lower eyelid. It is possible to eliminate various aesthetic problems that occur in the lower and upper eyelids, sometimes due to age and sometimes due to genetic characteristics, with blepharoplasty.

Brow Lift Surgery

Low eyebrows, which are one of the biggest components of facial aesthetics, and drooping lower than they should be, cause the person to look more tired and older. Elimination of these problems is possible with brow lift surgery. During these operations, both the general posture of the eyebrows on the face are corrected and the wrinkles in and around the middle of the eyebrows are removed. Brow lift surgeries can sometimes be applied in combination with eyelid and face lift operations to give the person a younger and more aesthetic appearance.

Face Lifting Operations

Depending on the advancing age and time, facial tissues sag and collapse with a downstream movement. These sagging and collapses are the most prominent features of old age images. It is possible to restore the face shape and make the person look younger with face lifting operations. Basically, face lifting operations are based on lifting and correcting facial tissues, as well as removing excess sagging skin. Face lifting operations are sometimes accompanied by brow lift and tarsectomy. Combined in this way, the person gets a younger look.

Fat Injections

In order to give a fuller appearance to certain parts of the body and face, the process of injecting fat taken from different parts of the body, especially the abdomen, is called fat injections. Fat injections are mostly applied to facial tissues. The main reasons for its application can be counted as plumping the lips, removing wrinkles on the side of the mouth, clarification of the gonion, and malar augmentation. Apart from the face, a more aesthetic and fuller appearance can be achieved with fat injection applications to the breasts and hips.

Otoplasty (Ear Surgery)

Ears, which are complementary to facial aesthetics, are important from a young age in terms of appearance. The appearance of prominent ears, which is caused by insufficiency of ear folds or larger than normal cartilage of the ear, causes aesthetic problems and negatively affects people’s lives. With otoplasty, the prominent ear appearance can be easily removed and the person can be given a better appearance. Otoplasty can also be performed in childhood, unlike most plastic surgery procedures.

Maxilla and Cheekbone Operations

Maxilla and cheekbone operations are among the most popular aesthetic operations today. Plump and prominent cheekbones and gonions provide sharper and more aesthetic facial features, making the person younger and more attractive. Various methods are used to clarify the maxilla and cheekbones. These are generally surgically placed facial prostheses and implants, fat injections in which fats taken from different parts of the body are applied, temporary dermal fillers and hanger methods. The choice of the most appropriate method for the person is decided by the physician depending on the needs.

Thighplasty

Slim and beautiful legs have had an important place in the definitions of beauty since ancient times. Loss of aesthetic appearance due to sagging, eminentias, bow legs, curvatures, etc. in the legs creates negativities for people. Elimination of these aesthetic deficiencies is possible with thighplasty. Fat injections, thigh reduction operations, knee aesthetic operations and prostheses applied to thin legs can be counted among the thighplasty.
